Peter Grace DDS

Dr. Peter Grace is excited to live in a time with so many advances in dentistry but knows going to the dentist may not be everyone’s favorite activity. From beautiful lifelike crowns and veneers, to implants, clear braces, and even a better understanding as to why one gets decay, dentistry has made many advancements. To help with the experience of dentistry Dr. Grace considers himself lucky to be part of a team of individuals who offer a friendly smile and caring nature to help provide a comfortable experience.

After growing up in nearby Rochester, NY, Dr. Grace attended SUNY College at Geneseo, University of Buffalo’s School of Dental Medicine and finished with a residency at the University of Utah. He continues to grow with dentistry having completed the course work at the Kois Dental Education Center and completed training at the Resnik Implant Institute and Engel Institute for dental implant training. He works hard to improve his knowledge and ability to deliver care to his patients.

While coaching at the Fairport Crew Club in Rochester, Dr. Grace met his wife Carla who was also coaching at the time. They both enjoy being parents to two active little girls. In his free time, he loves being outdoors skiing, rowing, hiking in the Adirondacks, and working in the family’s vegetable garden. Dr. Grace also considers himself handy around the house building furniture and fixing things, although in this process he has learned some things are best left to the professionals.

Dr. Grace is grateful the community of Geneva has embraced him and he works hard to provide his patients with excellent dental care.

Alicia Larsen

Dental Hygienist

Alicia’s fascination with teeth began when she was in kindergarten, when she tried to steal her grandma’s dentures to take to school for show and tell. Unfortunately, she was caught in the act and didn’t get very far. The first two years in the dental field she was a dental assistant. After that she decided she wanted to try something new and work as a dental lab technician, which lasted for almost ten years. She started to miss the face to face with patients, and went to MCC and graduated in May of 2020 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She soon started working at Portside since June of 2020, and has loved meeting new patients and helping them with their oral health . When she is not working, she likes to spend time with her husband, kids, and family. She also enjoys gardening, cooking, and camping.

Beth French

Office Coordinator

Beth has only worked in the dental field since June 2023. She has worked in healthcare for a number of years, most recently as a pharmacy technician. Beth has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Economics with a minor in Marketing. In her free time she enjoys baking (three-time award winning cookie contest winner), gardening, sewing, quilting, crocheting, and most importantly spending time with her family, especially her 5 grandchildren. They keep her young at heart!

Mary Lee Hurlburt

Dental Assistant

Mary Lee went to school at Eastman Dental and has been a dental assistant for 41 years. She worked for the VA as a dental assistant for 25 years before retiring. In her free time, she loves to travel and spend time with her husband, son, his fiancée and her new grandchild. She also likes cooking, making Afghans, and loving her life.

Jaida Larsen
